I've been so frustrated at these faith preachers that continue to use the whole "it wasn't God who did this to Job it was Satan. God just gave him permission to do it." If that is the case, you are right, God would be in association to all the destruction and death in Job's life. But God never said "you have my permission". He simply stated the fact that "You have had the power to do so all along". Very, good! This is THE best theory I’ve ever heard on Job.
