I've been trying to memorize Psalm 91 and realized I was having difficulties memorizing what I don't understand, so finally I looked up in Google "snare of the Fowler" which led me to your web site and for the first time I understand this verse. It also helps me to understand that I need to be more unpredictable for the Enemy of our souls, the Fowler, by walking more in the Spirit and resisting fleshly reactions to daily happenings. This is one of the most easily understood and applicable descriptions of Bible verse I have read! I am going through some very intense battles against the fowler at my workplace and in my marriage. I have read psalm 91 countless times and it always helps me remember who my God is, and enables me to put things into proper perspective. But I always bypassed that term because I didn't know what it meant. I was reading it today and decided to google it out of curiosity, and the Holy Spirit really opened up my mind in a new way! Praise God! He is totally living and active!! I am so thankful for this site! I am putting a bookmark here. :) Wow!! This man is under the control of a dark spirit and is adept at methodically breaking the confidence and spirit of those who work under him. I realized, when I read this word in depth, that my prayers to be protected from this man's devices and to be hidden in secret places from his attacks, are being answered. It is an odd coincidence indeed that this man's name is "Fowler".........the Lord is good and has once again demonstrated His love for me in this "Sodom and Gomorrah" work environment I find myself in.
